Mark Steven Greenfield

YouTube Premiere:
October 7, 2020
6 PM
Mark Steven Greenfield is an artist who is concerned with the complexities of the African American experience in contemporary society. His multi-media art often utilizes found materials and images. He is intrigued by the untold stories evoked by old photographs of unidentified people. Some of his work examines the painful history and effects of stereotypical images, minstrelsy, and the appropriation of African American culture.
